Illinois Irish Bar Staple Nevin’s Pub Continues Bar Innovation With Authentic Irish DraftTable™ Beer Dispensing Unit
Celebrating 20 years of continuously raising the ‘bar’ regarding the latest and greatest pub technologies, Tommy Nevin’s pub has installed the area’s first two DraftTable™ pour-your-own-pint systems. The DraftTable, made by Irish company Ellickson International, is poised to entertain the area’s beer enthusiasts from Bears, Bulls, Cubs and Blackhawks season to off-season happy hours and dinner dates. “We are very pleased to have the DraftTable tables ready to pour in our establishment,” said Steve Cin, owner of Tommy Nevin’s Pub. “Whether our guests book private parties, sit down after work or come to watch our beloved Chicago athletes, they will be completely entertained by the pour-your-own-pint systems. We continue to offer our patrons the latest and greatest in pub technology and the DraftTable allows us to do just that, while giving us a one-up on our competition.” Officially installed on September 19, Tommy Nevin’s Pub had a pour-your-own-pint contest, which was hosted by ESPN Radio personality Harry Teinowitz. The DraftTable first hit the United States when it was installed into a Philadelphia, PA bar in March of 2010, and since, has steadily been adopted by more bars and pubs across the country. Distributed throughout Ireland by international beer, wine and spirits company Diageo, the unit is already installed more than 300 pubs overseas; and now, with the installation in Tommy Nevin’s Pub, the Chicago area is now able to enjoy its first taste of a freshly poured beer through the DraftTable. “To the successful bar, a DraftTable system allows owners, patrons and curious onlookers a chance to almost trade places, making for an entirely new experience,” stated Declan Duggan, director of sales & marketing, Ellickson International USA. “As an Irish-made and manufactured product, Nevin’s patrons get a truly authentic Irish feel from the DraftTable, while completely eliminating wait time at the bar. The system also allows for greater profits and turnaround on product.” The DraftTable facilitates greater profits due to a variety of different features. The mobile table has the entire beer dispensing system built in, with sections for the kegs on the bottom, cooling units and a pressurized dispensing system packaged underneath and two taps on top. The unique tap system limits waste and a built-in meter gives patrons the exact amount of beer being poured for the patrons to see. At the same time, the DraftTable gives bartenders and bar owners more control than traditional serving methods such as pitchers or pint glasses. With an operating system behind the bar that links directly to each table, the bartender has the power to shut off the tap and stop the flow of beer whenever they see fit. “The DraftTable is a unit that offers more fun, more control, and less waste for both the patron and the bar owner,” continued Duggan. “It’s the smartest, most efficient way to serve beer, while adding another element of fun to the patrons bar experience.”

Las Vegas Patrons Are Dealt A Winning Hand Every Time They Sit At A New DraftTable Table
Pulling a lever in a Las Vegas bar or casino used to mean the customer was taking a gamble, but not anymore. With the new pour-your-own-pint DraftTable systems that were recently installed into a variety of establishments throughout Sin City, patrons can pull the handle knowing they will hit the jackpot every time. The Clark County Operation Manager’s office approved Ellickson International’s beer dispensing system for use just last week, and since then, the company has installed a total of 10 units in 10 different bars and casinos on and around the Las Vegas Strip. International beer distributing company Diageo performed the installation of each table at some of Las Vegas’ most popular locations, including 9 Fine Irishmen, McFadden's, and Mandalay Bay sports book, among others. The units were installed throughout the week of July 12, and became operationally functional on Friday, July 16. “The DraftTable embodies the spirit of Las Vegas perfectly,” said Declan Duggan, Director of Sales & Marketing, Ellickson International USA. “The city is all about doing what you want, and the DraftTable allows people to do exactly that. With the pour-your-own-pint system that the DraftTable delivers, people can pour what they want, when they want knowing that it will come out the way they want it, every time.” The DraftTable comes in two styles, fixed and mobile. The fixed table has four taps on the top that are all connected to kegs underground, and the mobile unit features two taps on top with the kegs positioned in a compartment underneath the table. Each unit has the entire beer dispensing system built in, with cooling units and pressurized beer dispensing systems packaged underneath that keep the beer flowing at the perfect temperature, and the taps on top of each unit can rotate up to 320 degrees for flexible access. Each unit is controlled through an operating system behind the bar that allows the bartender to allocate the proper amount of beer to each table, and there is a meter built into the tap that reads the exact amount of beer being poured for the patrons to see. The controls have three different security levels that can be adjusted according to the operator’s position, and it can be used to operate multiple tables for premise owners who have purchased multiple units. “We’re upping the ante in Las Vegas and throughout all of the United States,” continued Duggan. “These 10 tables are the first in what will be a long line of installations in bars and pubs throughout the West Coast. Having already gained notoriety and widespread acclaim from patrons and critics throughout the Eastern US and in Ireland, we’re confident that the DraftTable will provide the same benefits to people here, as well.” Become a FaceBook fan of the Draft Table at http://www.facebook.com/TheDraftTable Follow the Draft Table on Twitter at http://twitter.com/TheDraftTable Headquartered in Waterford, Ireland Ellickson International was founded in 2002 and provides innovative technologies that enhance the commercial performance and social dynamic of bars, restaurants, hotels and an array of hospitality businesses.
